The pieces of the wax bird before dipping

Dipping the wax bird body in the silca

The body after a "few" of many dips in the tank. It takes a lot coatings of the granular silca to withstand the heat of the bronze when its poured into the mold after the wax is melted out of it.

The "baby" is about to be born. Pouring bronze into the tail and feet silca cast.

Its a Bronze cast Pheasant!!
